South Africa's President Mbeki Resigns

South African President Thabo Mbeki announced Sunday that he is stepping down from office. Mbeki's resignation comes after months of struggle with his own party, the African National Congress, and a long feud with party leader Jacob Zuma.

Mark Gevisser, author of Thabo Mbeki: The Dream Deferred, talks to host Andrea Seabrook about the political crisis in South Africa.
