A standoff between the Lebanese government and the Hezbollah has produced huge demonstrations in Beirut. Sunday, hundreds of thousands of people came to the foot of the government headquarters in the capital city, demanding what amounts to veto powers for the opposition within the cabinet. A sit-in is ongoing.
