Polls show it's still a three-way race for the Democratic presidential nomination in Iowa, as all the major candidates were in town for the final weekend of campaigning ahead of Thursday's caucuses. Does Sen. Hillary Clinton have more at stake in Iowa than her rivals?
A win in the state could set the tone for her battles with Sen. Barack Obama and former Sen. John Edwards elsewhere, while a loss could puncture what some see as an air of inevitability around her, potentially making for a more open race heading into New Hampshire.
On the Republican side, a win for former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee would hurt the campaign of former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney, although he might be able to recover quickly in New Hampshire. One unpredictable factor in the race is the effect of the assassination of former Pakistani Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto. Huckabee appears to be struggling to find footing on the issue, while Sen. John McCain has highlighted his foreign policy experience.
