Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger says his only resolution this New Year's Eve will be "jobs, jobs, jobs."
With California's unemployment rate at 12.3 percent, the governor says it pains him to see people going without jobs during the holiday season.
He's promising to work with state legislators early in the new year to help create more jobs.
His comments Monday came as he announced $26.5 million for counties to help fight fraud in California's in-home assistance program.
He says 462,000 people who are disabled or have special needs use the program to stay in their homes. The governor says safeguards like fingerprinting, background checks and unannounced visits could save the state $130 million in fraudulent claims.
