San Diego police on Tuesday are investigating a shooting in the Park West neighborhood.
The incident occurred at an apartment in the 1900 block of First Avenue, near Fir Street at about 3:20 p.m., according to police.
Police said two people were shot. The victims were transported to UCSD Medical Center to be treated. Their conditions were unknown.
Two Hispanic men reportedly ran from the apartment building after the shooting.
Police are blocking off the area while they conduct their investigation.
