Wildflour, award-winning chef and restaurateur Phillip Esteban’s latest culinary venture in San Diego’s vibrant Arts District, Liberty Station, will host a special brunch takeover with Bica on Saturday, August 16, 2025, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Fresh off its first anniversary, Bica — the small but mighty Adams Avenue café from co-owners Manny Da Luz and Charlie Knowles — has earned a loyal following for its elevated coffeehouse-meets-restaurant approach. For this one-day collaboration, Bica will serve a selection of brunch favorites, like a Croque Madame with prosciutto cotto, mornay sauce, Gruyère, fried eggs, and chives, or a slow-roasted brisket sandwich with chimichurri on a French baguette alongside coffee drinks from Encinitas’ Necessity Coffee and a curated beer and wine list.
