It's only the second day of December but San Diego is taking it's "off season" very seriously. Between December nights, festive plays and handmade holiday gifts, you'd better grab hold of your winter coat because the season is officially upon us!

Household objects are reincarnated, poodles are mixed with pop culture, and desert houses are moved indoors this Culture Lust Weekend.

Drink beer, build sculptures and go see Mavis Staples this weekend. Culture Lust has a long list of lustable events for you to choose from this first November weekend.

Between the breasts and bright orange gourds of October, fall is a fruitful time for the Arts & Culture scene. If you're not hoppin' on over to House of Blues for Frightened Rabbit or jammin' with the fam this Saturday at NCM, get your weekend cultural quota during Fruit of the Soul.

Whether rainy days make you rejoice or recoil, beachwear is a no-go this Culture Lust weekend. But fear not - we have a lot of art & culture to keep cabin fever at bay and liven up a rather damp San Diego. Oh, and may we suggest taking Wednesday off from work as it's the busiest hump day in Culture Lust history.
