Law enforcement officials found the bodies in and around a Cadillac with California plates in a remote, brushy canyon in southern Rosarito.

Baja California investigators say two men were dead in the back seat. They found the body of a woman and a man within 80 feet. All four had gunshot wounds and the car had multiple bullet holes.

Investigators say the woman carried a California drivers license with the name Libby Gianna Craig. The address on the license is in La Mesa.

Investigators initially believed all of the dead were U.S. citizens but they now say three of the four were Mexican.
