We all know museum passes can be pretty pricey, especially if you add the cost on top of a family vacation. Well, if you're active-duty military, you and yours get a well-deserved break on museum admission this summer.

NEA Chairman Rocco Landesman and Mayor Sanders returned to the steps of the San Diego Museum of Art, almost exactly a year later, to announce the renewal of the NEA's Blue Star Museums campaign. The program offers free admission to museums for families of active-duty military.

Last year, 600 museums participated nationwide. This year, 1,350(!) museums across the country are providing the service. The program runs from Memorial Day through Labor Day. Here's where you can find a list of all the museums participating by region.
