San Diego doesn't often play host to Oscar-nominated directors so it is a real treat to have the opportunity to interview Wim Wenders.
On Thursday, Wenders hosted a Q&A at the United Artists Horton Plaza Theaters for a near sold out crowd of appreciative movie fans. The director, who looks very much like a slightly disheveled professor, also stopped by the KPBS studios to speak with me about his Oscar-nominated documentary "Pina" that was shot in 3D.
Watch my interview.
The Oscar for Best Documentary will be given out this Sunday evening. "Pina" is still playing at UA Horton Plaza and AMC Fashion Valley at select times.
