Discounted Dog Adoptions At Camp Pendleton Shelter

Frida the Chihuahua mix

The Camp Pendleton Animal Shelter has a very special place in my heart. It's where we adopted our beloved Chihuahua mix, Frida. And now's your chance - the shelter is offering a discount on dog adoptions until April 10.

Camp Pendleton Patch reports the shelter is holding its Pre-Memorial Day Red, White and Blue Floor Sale:

Base families who adopt will receive a free one-year license with the $20 to $30 adoption.

$30 for unconditional love and affection? What a bargain! The adoption fee is normally $110 to take home a dog.

Civilians can adopt from the shelter, too!

I know from personal experience that the folks at Camp Pendleton Animal Shelter take very good care of their dogs, and have great affection for the pups.
