Street Food Cinema is like a neighborhood party that combines food, music and movies.

It's been happening all over Los Angeles for the last few years, and this summer it makes its San Diego debut.

A selection of cult favorites and family films will be screened at Seaport Village's new Ruocco Park, as well as at Balboa Park. Gates open at 5:30 p.m., the band begins at 6:30 p.m. and the movie plays at 8:30 p.m.
