Denver International Airport flight operations are likely to be severely curtailed, at least until tonight, because of the blizzard that's blasted Colorado, Nebraska and Kansas.
Since Denver International is a major "hub" for U.S. air travel, Steve Schultz at Lindbergh Field says the effects will be felt on some flights there.
Steve Schultz: As was the case yesterday, flights to and from Denver are – today at least – cancelled. There's two airlines that serve Denver from San Diego: Frontier and United. So any passenger who'd be flying those airlines to or from Denver, or connecting through Denver, are urged to call their airlines to verify the status of their scheduled flight.
Even after normal operations are restored in Denver, it will take a while for all flights to return to normal schedules.
