Mexican President Cracking Down on Tijuana Crime

Full Focus examines Operation Tijuana, the Mexican president's major offensive against organized crime just south of the border.

Just across the San Diego-Tijuana border, violence stemming from drug trafficking has become brutal and all too frequent.  Kidnappings and killings have multiplied lately. Now Mexico’s new president has sent in soldiers and federal agents to try and restore order. The crackdown is being called Operation Tijuana and it’s having an effect on residents, tourists, and investors.  But is it shutting down the crime wave?  We talk with a reporter who is covering the story.
