San Diego Gas Prices Slip About Nickel a Gallon
San Diego's average pump price slipped about a nickel a gallon in the past week. The Utility Consumer's Action Network reports the average price for a gallon of gas is now $3.41 a gallon.
UCAN's Charles Langley says their fuel tracker survey has found prices as low as $3.21 a gallon. He says the prices may slide even further.
Langley : This week we've seen almost a nickel. Last Wednesday, the price of gas was three-45 point nine cents. Prices are down a nickel and they'll probably drop even more over the weekend.
Langley says the long term outlook isn't as optimistic. He says uncertainty over supply, a potentially strong hurricane season, and volatile oil prices could push retail gas prices back up.
