Alison St John (Guest Host): California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger is in Canada on a trade mission funded by private business interests. Meanwhile, a federal court has cleared the way for his plan to transfer thousands of prisoners out of state as a way to solve the critical prison overcrowding problem. State government is looking for ways to raise revenues fast, perhaps with a Faustian bargain to privatize the lottery and perhaps by dispensing with millions of dollars in unclaimed property.
