Feinstein Endorses Hillary Clinton For President
Democratic California Senator Dianne Feinstein Wednesday pitched her support behind New York Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton's White House bid. Chad Pergram reports from Capitol Hill.
Politicians often use the old saw that it's time for a change. But Feinstein believes 2008, is different.
Feinstein : I think there has never been in history a presidential election where change is more important. So the question comes, who is best-skilled and qualified to carry out that change.
Feinstein says she's worried about America's global standing.
Feinstein : If you look at returning America's credibility. I mean this is the candidate who as First Lady traveled to 85 countries, met with 85 heads of state. It's Hillary Clinton.
Feinstein likes Senator Clinton because of her opportunity to be the first female president after her time as First Lady and seven years in the Senate.
Feinstein : Hillary Clinton has done all of the apprenticeships for this job.
Feinstein is the seventh Senator to endorse Clinton.
