Unusual September Pacific Storm Expected for San Diego
Tom Fudge: This morning many San Diegans woke up to wet streets in their neighborhoods – a pretty unusual sight in our community. Over the past two years, we've experienced drought in the West. But weather forecasters have been predicting a rare September rainstorm in South California.
But will this be no more than a dribble, or will it be a genuine soaking downpour? Joining me to tell us what's going on this morning, and to give us his best predictions is Stan Wasowski. Stan is a forecaster for the National Weather Service's San Diego office.
