After she enjoyed the Dramatic Chipmunk , my colleague and KPBS film critic Beth Accomando reminded me of Jennifer Shiman's series of 30-second film summaries re-enacted by bunnies. Yup, bunnies! Shiman's shorts became so popular, she eventually got a contract to produce them for the Starz channels. You can watch the entire collection here.
Beth's favorites are Reservoir Dogs, Star Wars, and Brokeback Mountain (I loved the bunny Brokeback as well, with lines like..."Get in the tent!" and "I wish I knew how to quit you!". My other favorites are: Napolean Dynamite , Office Space , The Shining , and Titanic (for the love montage that ends in backseat hanky-panky, which Shiman distills to one perfect shot). Pick your own favorites. They're all good and clever and valuable time-wasters. Enjoy!

Hilarious! Amazing how well she captures the facial expressions, like the doctor/hypnotist in Office Space and "vote for Summer!"
