San Diego Theater Company Mo'olelo Creates a Green Production

Tom Fudge: Today, a lot of organizations are trying to do their bit for the environment. But theaters? Well, when you think about it, the construction of sets is a process that can lead to a lot of materials used and then disposed of. Here in San Diego the Mo'olelo Performing Arts Company has taken the step to create a green system of theatrical production. In fact, the theater has gotten national attention for its green plan.

I'm joined in studio by Seema Sueko and David Weiner who are here to talk about the theater's environmental plan and about the theater's new play, which opens tonight. The play is called Cowboy Versus Samurai .

Cowboy Versus Samurai opens tonight and runs through Dec. 16 at 10th Avenue Theater.
