There's a fun mix of music around town this weekend: Built to Spill, Steve Earle, Presidents of the United States of America, and Jose Gonzalez.

Tom Fudge: A Swedish musician named Jose Gonzalez? No, I am not making this up. He does exist. In fact, he's performing in a couple of days in San Diego. He's one of the musical acts we'll review on this week's Weekend Preview.
