Tom Fudge: The news about the economic downturn has lead us to believe that now is number one: a bad time to sell a house, and number two: a bad time to look for a job. And that's bad news for people who are forced to do one or the other. You may have no choice but to sell your house if circumstance forces you to move. And, if you're graduating from college, you've got to try to get a job.
Now, maybe you don't have to try to get a job. You can go to grad school, but that costs money and could put you further in debt. That's why a lot of college grads really feel like they have to try their luck in the job market. And, it turns out some of them are still going to get lucky. It kind of depends what field their trying to get into.
Next week, students at San Diego state will be getting their diplomas as Spring Graduation comes around. So we're going to take a look at the job market and the job prospects for college graduates.
