We talk about two plays from small but adventurous theaters, two special film screenings, and one band called the Detroit Cobras on the weekend preview.

Tom Fudge: A play with no words and a movie at a beer company are among the things we'll talk about during this edition of the weekend preview.

Request Programme is currently on stage at Ion Theater through June 14th.

Vox Nova 's Super Nova New Play Festival takes place through the weekend at the Lyceum Theater.

300 , with commentary by Mike Nelson will be screened at the Stone Brewing Company in Escondido on Wednesday June 11th.

Fistful of Dollars screens Thursday June 5 at the Museum of Photographic Arts in Balboa Park.

The Detroit Cobras play the Casbah June 10th.
