San Diego's Gas Prices Holding Steady, For Now
The average price of a gallon of gas held fairly steady in San Diego over the weekend. The Utility Consumer's Action Network says it costs $4.62 for a gallon of gasoline. U-CAN's Charles Langley says that's 17 cents a gallon more than this time a week ago, but the price is virtually unchanged from Friday.
Langley: Gas prices only went up a tenth of a cent this past weekend. So maybe if we're really lucky we're approaching the peak.
Langley says the public comments from Saudi officials may help cool the price hikes. The oil producing country promised to increase production and Saudi ministers say they don't see a clear reason for the high prices.
