SNL alumni Tina Fey and Amy Poehler star in Baby Mama (Universal)

Baby Mama
(opening April 25 throughout San Diego), starring Tina Fey and Amy Poehler is a comedy about a 37-year-old business woman who's been focused on her career rather then on her personal life. Now in the midst of a big business deal, Kate (Tina Fey) realizes she's missing a baby in her life. On the road to various ways of conception, she finds that she cannot conceve and her only chance of being a mother is through a surrogate mother, Angie (Amy Poehler), who's her total opposite. When the unlikely surrogate mother becomes pregnant and leaves her husband, she shows up at Kate's door with no place to go and the baby mama drama begins.
As a huge fan of comedy I knew I had to see this film just after viewing the trailer. If you liked comedies such as
Knocked Up
or
SuperBad
you will enjoy this film as well. Although the plot is the typical uptight-meets-outgoing-and-carefree-person, it kept me laughing throughout the film. However, I was a little dissapointed in the ending because it was so predictable.
Baby Mama
is rated PG-13 for crude and sexual humor, language and a drug reference.
