OMG! It's only Thursday and the panels already boast the incredible line up of Tim Burton, Terry Gilliam, Park Chan-Wook, and Bruce Campbell. Also at 11:00 a.m. Tim Burton appears on the Disney panel to talk about his new "Alice in Wonderland." This by the way had the Twilight Moms excited because they are hoping for a surprise appearance by "Alice" star Johnny Depp. After all, they told me, Hugh Jackman surprised them last year, why not Depp this year? Sounds like a longshot but they can always hope.

At 1:00 p.m. in Room 32AB, Shinya Tsukamoto of "Tetsuo" cult fame, will make a rare U.S. appearance and talk about his "Tetsuo Project."

At 2:30 p.m. comic book fans can find themselves torn between a spotlight on Gene Yang and a panel with veteran attendees Sergio Aragones and Mark Evanier. And just to make life even more complicated, at 2:30 p.m. in Ballroom 20, the always entertaining Bruce Campbell is part of the "Burn Notice" panel.
