The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in San Diego County fell two-tenths of a cent Tuesday to $4.035, one day after rising 1 cent to its highest amount since July 30.
The average price is 2.4 cents more than one week ago and 12.1 cents higher than one month ago but 2.7 cents less than one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.
The average price has increased nine of the past 12 days.
