The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in San Diego County rose Saturday for the 33rd consecutive day and 51st time in 52 days, increasing 1.9 cents to $3.87, its highest amount since Nov. 25, 2019.
The average price has increased 52.5 cents over the past 52 days, including 1.9 cents on Friday, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service. It is 9.7 cents more than one week ago, 35 cents higher than one month ago and 43 cents greater than one year ago.
The 33-day streak of increases is the longest since a 35-day streak from January 30 through March 5, 2015.
