U.S. Employers Report Solid Job Growth
The U.S. Department of Labor says American companies added 157,000 jobs in July. The figure is slightly below analyst expectations, but continues a trend of substantial job growth during the first half of the year.
San Diego City Council Approves Short-Term Rental Plan
The city of San Diego is moving forward with plans to create regulations for short-term home rentals. Those who use platforms like Airbnb and HomeAway will be limited to their primary residence in renting rooms to strangers. Other rules are included and the California Coastal Commission must still grant its approval.
