MAUREEN CAVANAUGH (Host): First Lady Michelle Obama is in San Diego today. She's here to promote her anti-obesity campaign - but more specifically to help launch an effort to transform more than a dozen California neighborhoods into healthy communities.

The Building Healthy Communities Initiative has selected 14 neighborhoods across the state one of them is City Heights here in San Diego. It's a 10-year program aimed at creating healthy places, with access to fresh foods, safe places to exercise and clean air, to help kids get healthy and grow into healthy adults.
