Friendly Fire Kills NATO Soldier in Afghanistan

One NATO soldier was killed and several were wounded by friendly fire Monday in Afghanistan. The troops were hit during a battle with Taliban fighters. NATO is trying to regain control of Kandahar province in southern Afghanistan, where the Taliban now has a foothold.

Major Luke Knittig, NATO spokesman, talks to Alex Chadwick about the situation in Afghanistan.
