'Marketplace' Report: World Bank, IMF Meeting

Annual meetings for the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund are being held this weekend in Washington.

Marketplace's Amy Scott says it will be the first meeting since Paul Wolfowitz stepped down as head of the World Bank amid scandal. Robert Zoellick, the former U.S. trade representative who replaced Wolfowitz, has spent much his first three months as president repairing relations with the staff that was frayed during his predecessor's tenure.

During the upcoming meeting, Scott says, attendees with discuss global climate change and the current credit crisis.
