In a speech before the Knesset in Jerusalem, President Bush criticizes one of Israel's enemies, Iran, saying it is the world's leading sponsor of terrorism.
He also makes what some in the U.S. saw as a swipe against Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama, saying that negotiating with terrorists and radicals is the false comfort of appeasement. Obama has said on the campaign trail that he would be willing to meet with Iran's leadership and other leaders of so-called rogue regimes.
