The proposal to create a mixed-use village near the existing Del Mar Highlands Towne Center moved a big step closer to construction last week. The City of San Diego's Planning Commission approved most of the $50 million dollar project in Carmel Valley.
Now the very controversial One Paseo project moves to the City Council for approval. The construction project has created vigorous support and vehement opposition.
