The new charges come amid the ongoing civil fraud trial against owner Michael Pratt. The civil trial is expected to wrap up this week.

A San Diego civil fraud trial against the distributor of pornographic online videos has now expanded into a federal criminal sex trafficking case.

The civil case revolves around San Diego-based GirlsDoPorn website owner and 22 women who say they were deceived and coerced into filming porn videos.

Now, the website operator has been charged in federal court with producing child porn and sex trafficking.

Courthouse News reporter Bianca Bruno has been following the case and joined Midday Edition on Monday to talk about the latest charges against GirlsDoPorn owner Michael Pratt.
