Pico Iyer will be one of the featured presenters at the 25th annual Writer’s Symposium By The Sea to be held later this month at Point Loma Nazarene University.

Best-selling author Pico Iyer goes to a place he's never gone before in his latest book "Autumn Light."

Set against the backdrop of his home in Japan, Iyer takes on the subject of grief following the death of his father-in-law.

In a companion book, "A Beginner's Guide To Japan," Iyer takes the reader to the land where he's lived for more than three decades and explains why he sometimes still feels like a visitor in his adopted home.
