The television program "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" is on the lookout for military families who need...well...extreme home makeovers, according to the Stars and Stripes. The popular ABC show does a complete renovation of a military family's house as many as three times a season. Extreme Makeover: Home Edition producer Diane Korman tells the Stars and Stripes:
Case in point - the Dickinson Family of Beaufort, South Carolina. Earlier this year the crew of Extreme Makeover rehabbed the mold-ridden house of the Dickinsons while Marine Staff Sgt. Bill Dickinson was in Afghanistan. Local TV station WJCL interviewed Extreme Makeover host Ty Pennington during the renovation:
