A bill that would allow servicemembers and their families to get through airport security screening more quickly cleared its final congressional hurdle Wednesday. It’s now awaiting President Obama’s signature.
The legislation would affect members of the U.S. military traveling in uniform, and their families. "He envisions troops not having to remove boots, belt buckles, bulky military jackets and medals. Troops could go to the front of the line, or a separate line could be created," said bill sponsor Rep. Chip Cravaak.
