Members of the U.S. military were among the victims of alleged Colorado shooter James Holmes, according to the Pentagon.
Pentagon press secretary George Little told reporters today, according to the Associated Press, that there were military casualties in the shooting massacre at a Aurora, Colorado movie theater early this morning.
NBC News is reporting that among the injured are two Air Force reservists and one active-duty member of the Navy.
As far as the shooting suspect goes, according to the A.P.:
Marine Col. Dave Lapan, a Pentagon spokesman, says that initial indications are that the suspect in the shootings, James Holmes, was not a member of the military.
Aurora, Colorado is home to Buckley Air Force Base.
