Veterans Of Three Wars Remember Their Service

Three veterans who served in World War II, the Korean War and the Vietnam War talk about what they witnessed in combat.

— Joe Galloway was a newspaper correspondent who covered the war in Vietnam. He was awarded the Bronze Star with Valor for rescuing wounded service members while under fire, according to his military.com biography.

— Phillip Williams served as a private first class in the Korean War;

Galloway says of the war memories that still haunt him:

"We're not supposed to forget 'em. We're not supposed to have closure."
