Ernesto Heads for Florida, Sends Shuttle Indoors

Rain from Tropical Storm Ernesto surges into Florida as the system leaves Cuba behind. Ernesto currently has sustained winds of 45 m.p.h. But forecasters say they could strengthen before an expected Florida landfall late Tuesday night.

The threatening weather forced NASA to roll the space shuttle Atlantis off of its Kennedy Space Center launch pad for storage in the facility's Vehicle Assembly Building.
