Former CIA operative Valerie Plame Wilson is testifying Friday at a congressional hearing into the leak of her identity by the White House.
She told a House panel that her identity was revealed four years ago for what she says were purely political reasons. Plame Wilson's husband, Ambassador Joseph Wilson, was a vocal critic of the Bush administration's policy in Iraq.
Last week, I. Lewis "Scooter" Libby was convicted on charges related to his involvement in leaking Plame Wilson's identity to the press.
