President Bush came out swinging Monday as Congress returned from a two-week recess.
The president challenged the Democrats to fund the Iraq war, eliminate "wasteful spending" and quickly pass a fix to the alternative minimum tax to avoid big tax increases and delayed IRS refunds.
But if the president thinks he has the upper hand, he may have another thing coming, as he takes on Senate Democratic leader Harry Reid.
