The White House released its quarterly report on stimulus spending. One area lawmaker says the money has made its way to San Diego. Peter Granitz reports from Capitol Hill.
Some Democrats are frustrated with the administration because they have only spent 6 percent of the economic stimulus bill. Republican Darrell Issa was an outspoken critic of the legislation. He says a great deal of money has gone out to cities and states to fund a lot of road projects.
"The stimulus money has been earmarked for projects that were already going to be built," says Issa. "The money was already going to those, in my own district State Route 76 and others. Then, the money from those projects that was going to be spent by the state or city, has been moved other places."
Issa says that money has been used to help close California's budget gap.
