Texas Gov. and Republican presidential candidate Rick Perry is scheduled to begin a two-day fundraising swing through California today with a breakfast event in La Jolla.
Tickets for the fundraisers begin at $1,000. A $5,000 joint donation will get two tickets to a fundraiser and the chance to take a photo with Perry. Under federal law, the maximum individual contribution is $2,500.
Perry is also scheduled today to conduct a luncheon fundraiser in Newport Beach and night events in Los Angeles' Westside. He will conduct fundraisers in Bakersfield, East Palo Alto and Fresno Friday.
