Feinstein Holds Hearing On Nuclear Plant Safety
U.S. Senator Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif) is holding a hearing on to review U.S. nuclear safety Wednesday in Washington D.C.
The hearing comes in the aftermath of the earthquake and tsunami in Japan.
Feinstein is chairman of the Senate Appropriations Subcommittee on Energy and Water.
Those scheduled to appear include Gregory Jaczko,chairman of the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission and David Lochbaum,the Director of the Nuclear Safety Project for Union of Concerned Scientists.
A news release from Feinstein's office said the 10 a.m. hearing will be held in the Dirksen Senate Office Building, Room 138.
