A big baby has been born at the San Diego Zoo.
Two of the San Diego Zoo's hippos welcomed a baby hippopotamus around 11:30 a.m. Mother and father Funani and Otis have lived together in the Zoo's hippo habitat for two years.
The baby arrived after two hours of labor, which is generally common for hippos.
Zookeepers have not been able to determine the baby's sex, and so it has yet to be named.
The baby hippo has been on display since its birth yesterday, visitors can sneak a peek at it in the exhibit with its mother.
