Cholodenko’s other feature films include "Laurel Canyon" and "The Kids Are All Right", which was nominated for four Academy Awards and won the Golden Globe for Best Comedy or Musical. Her HBO limited series, "Olive Kitteridge", earned seven Emmy awards and the DGA award for best limited series. "Unbelievable", for which she directed the first three episodes, was nominated for several Golden Globe and Emmy awards, and won the Peabody award.   • Trilogía del Dolor is an exploration of human pain through music and poetry. It aims to musically portray a real human experience of pain, one that goes beyond its idealizations, helps open conversations about it, and contributes to transcend misunderstandings and taboos around it. The trilogy features the poetry of Mexican contemporary poets Nuria Manzur-Wirth, Ricardo Cázares, Tania Favela, Nadia Mondragón, and Mónica Morales Rocha, plus texts written by the composer. The performance will feature vocalists Mariana Flores Bucio and Miguel Zazueta, clarinetist Madison Greenstone, cellist Rocío Sánchez, percussionist Camilo Zamudio, and flutist/composer/narrator Wilfrido Terrazas.
