  • Writing can sometimes feel like a lonely endeavor, but a good read-and-critique group can help you feel supported and connected to a writing community. Friday Writers I is a read-and-critique group for all levels. This group will offer thoughtful feedback and guidance in your poetry writing endeavors. The class begins with a close read of two to three poems written by contemporary poets, followed by a few minutes of writing from a prompt. Following the free-write, we will read and critique each other's work.
