The group’s repertoire spans traditional Mexican genres, including cumbia, which infuses their performances with infectious dance beats, norteño polka, characterized by lively accordion melodies and a distinctive two-step rhythm, and corridos, narrative ballads that tell stories of romance, heartbreak, folklore, and occasionally, a touch of debauchery. The band’s lineup features Olmedo Montaño on guitar and lead vocals, whose expressive performances captivate audiences; Marlene Montaño on bass, providing the foundational grooves that drive their music; and Luis Montaño on accordion and secondary vocals, adding melodic depth and traditional flair.
